Waiting for Hannah

Hannah at 6 weeks

This is your first ultrasound! We didn't expect to see much but we were so happy to see that you are actually there inside mommy's tummy! :)

Hannah at 12 weeks

You were moving around here a lot! We were surprised to see how much you've grown already! You were playing with your hands that day. Everything looked good according to the ultrasound technician and the doctors.

Hannah at 20 weeks

This is your 3rd ultrasound Hannah. We had your feet high up above your head! They said you were doing that on your own and not because it is tight inside mommy's tummy. We also saw you stretch and arch your back today.

Look at your right foot!

There you are showing us that you are a girl! :)

You showed us your full face too! Eyes and nose looked good!

We love you Hannah!

Gender Reveal

Baby, we were so excited to find out if you were a boy or a girl! We wanted you to be able to see mommy and daddy's excitement. :) Unfortunately, they wouldn't let us take a video during the actual ultrasound. Daddy couldn't sit still and he was not even listening to the ultrasound technician as she was telling us about your heart beating well, your arms and legs getting longer and stronger, your diaphragm being intact and your cute little brain having all the right parts. (At least mommy was paying attention!) She showed us your eyes, your spine and your kidneys too. She said your kidneys are now working @20 weeks and that you weigh 12 ounces (can of Coke!). We had to poke you a little bit because you were hiding your boy/girl parts and after a few gentle pokes, you started showing off for mommy and daddy and you finally showed us that you are a... girl!!! :) We already knew we were naming you Hannah but we couldn't decide on a second name. We're thinking Gabrielle so we can call you Ellie too. :) Daddy likes the sound of Ellie.

We went to Macaroni Grill to celebrate after where mommy got her usual mushroom ravioli with marsala sauce and daddy got his sampler trio (with extra lasagna servings because they got it wrong the first time). We were going to Kohl's or Babys R Us right after but we were so excited to announce it to the world so we went home right away to make the video. Of course we already called your lolos and lolas and sent a message to your titos and titas right after the ultrasound. Ate Jacqui is so excited because she always believed that you're going to be a girl. :) We all can't wait to meet you Hannah!!!
